UCSC students won the Security Quiz competition organised by the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (Sri Lanka CERT), a fully owned subsidiary of the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA), in conjunction with ICTA. Event was held at Hotel Renuka Colombo 3 on 14 October 2011.

The Security Quiz  was conducted over eight rounds, each round comprising questions from a specialised security area.
