What is EnSiTip?

EnSiTip is an easy-to-use popup dictionary add-on for Firefox. After installing this extension, just hover the mouse on top of an English word and a popup will appear with suggestions of possible Sinhala equivalents.


Features:
  • Simplicity:
    • Translate English words just hovered by mouse.
    • Translate selected words.
  • Automatically de-inflects verbs and adjectives.
  • Replaces translated words choosing one out of its translation.
  • Pronounces English words. (Pronunciation of English words requires the installation of Real Player, and ability to run JavaScript.)

This extension is licensed under GNU General Public License v2.

EnSiTipAR for Firefox EnSiTip now works with Firefox 3.5! New features introduced in EnSiTip-AR are given below. EnSiTip-AR will be released in July 2009.

Download EnSiTip 2.0.0

To manually install a downloaded XPI in Firefox, simply drag the file and drop it into an opened Firefox window. You can also install it by clicking the File menu, and opening file in Firefox.
