Speech Technology Initiative Under this initiative, all the speech related research are being carried out and relevant products and updates are available for download.
Localization of AMIS  AMIS is free of charge, open source DAISY book playback software. The AMIS Sinhala localization is collaboratively done by LTRL and DAISY Lanka Foundation.
Font Encoding converters for Sinhala/Tamil An online tool for converting propriatary font encodings to Unicode and vice versa.
UCSCSellinam - Tamil SMS Application Instead of sending Tamil messages as a picture through Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS), you can use this application to send it as text using Short Messaging Service (SMS). This is a Java MIDP 2.0 application and requires a Java-enabled handset. Please note that the recipient should also have this application in order to view the Tamil SMS message.
