The final round of the UCSC IT Quiz Competition is
to be commenced on the 12th March at the Open University
premises with the participation of nine schools representing
the relevant provinces. The competition which began
in September 2006 has seen the brilliance of Sri Lanka's
young prodigies during the four months where the competition
was held island-wide and now the heat has surfaced as
we have reached the grand finale.
Our Vision
Evolving
from many eras, the human race is gradually arriving
at its peak in the Information Technology (IT) age.
Equipped with new technology which provides assistance
in many aspects, the world is running ahead at a
pace that makes us wonder, "Is it leaving Sri Lanka
behind?" As proven during many technological advancements
we, as a nation, have failed to adapt to novelty
thus, making us "unfit to compete".
Keeping up to the standards of our institution as
the 'Trend setter in the industry', The student
body of the UCSC, has drawn plans to address the
above issue by increasing awareness and access to
technology.
